Initial contact.

When you contact TreeHouse Wellbeing and Counselling Ltd with an enquiry about the services, TreeHouse Wellbeing and Counselling Ltd will collect information to help TreeHouse Wellbeing and Counselling Ltd satisfy your enquiry. This will include your name, email address, contact number, date of birth, address and emergency contact details.. That confidentiality will only be broken if the practitioner believes you are at risk of harm to yourself or others, where statutory law requires me to inform the relevant authorities, such as illegal activity, terrorist activities, drug trafficking, abuse towards a child or vulnerable person or being legally compelled by a court of law. I will always try to speak to you about this first, unless there are safeguarding issues that prevent this.

TreeHouse Wellbeing and Counselling Ltd will keep a record of your personal details to help the services run smoothly. These details are kept securely in a locked filing cabinet and a password encrypted HP Pavillion with Norton 360 anti virus protection. The practitioner will keep written notes of each session, these are kept in a locked filing cabinet. For security reasons the practitioner will only retain text messages for the amount of time you are accessing TreeHouse Wellbeing and Counselling Ltd. If there is relevant information contained in a text message TreeHouse Wellbeing and Counselling Ltd will make notes on paper and store this in a locked filing cabinet. Likewise, any email correspondence will be deleted once you have finished accessing the services.

After Services have ended

After services have ended, your records will be kept for 7 years from the end of the last contact with TreeHouse Wellbeing and Counselling Ltd and are then securely destroyed.

Sharing your data with Third Parties

TreeHouse Wellbeing and Counselling Ltd may share personal data with third parties, for example, where a supplier to carry out specific tasks has been contracted. In such cases TreeHouse Wellbeing and Counselling has carefully selected which companies are contracted.
